一、move 动词。意思是“移动、挪动转移、移动、驱动、走动”。指的是“从一处移往另一处”，是最一般、用处最广的词。例如：

The train was already moving. 火车现已开了。

Time moves quickly. 日月如梭。

That chair is in the way, move it please. 那把椅子阻止，请搬开。

He was planning to move his office to Berlin.他已方案把单位搬到柏林去。

二、remove 动词。意思是“拿开、移动、脱掉、去掉、革职、辞退、搬场”。偏重指脱离正本的当地、职位，而作一种新的或许暂时的组织或改动。例如：

He removed his desk to another office.他把桌子搬到另一间单位去了。

The traveller removed his wet coat. 这位游客把湿衣裳脱掉了。

三、shift 动词。意

思是“挪动转移、移动、转移、改动，改换方位”。一般富含“较简略地更动、不平稳”、或出于动机不纯而把差错、责任转嫁给别人等意义。例如：

Lend me a hand to shift this piano , will you ?搭把手帮我搬一下钢琴，好吗？

They shifted about for several years. 他们搬场都好几年了。

He tried to shift the blame for his mistakes onto his colleagues. 他自个犯了差错，却企图把责任推给火伴。
