这套教材是台湾小学生学习Phonics的专用教材。其特色是穿插短文数量较多，Book7中的短文长度有两页之多，通过读短文来练习拼读是最有效的方法，当然，对孩子的挑战也相对较大。另外，相对其他教材而言，同一字母组合列举的单词也较多，给予孩子们充足的拼读训练，同时单词量也会相应增长。
教材优点：短文数量较多。
